ArcGIS Enterprise

As of September, Esri has introduced new enhancements in ArcGIS Enterprise, namely:

  • Custom disk space threshold for collaborated content – If you are using distributed collaboration, you can now customize the disk space threshold in ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1 within the REST API. This feature allows the default value, 10 GB of available disk space, to be updated with a custom absolute value based on your site’s storage requirements. To learn more read the blog of Esri’s Joel Jeyarajah and Caroline Wright “What’s new in ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1: Custom disk space threshold for collaborated content” as well as how to customize the threshold.
  • New stuff in Distributed Collaboration – Notable enhancements are: share web mapping applications; synchronize workspace on demand; modify content storage threshold (see above). To learn more about these enhancements, read Hilary Curtis’s blog “What’s New in Distributed Collaboration at ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1”.

AND. . . by the way, collaboration is now available for all ArcGIS Online organizations with ArcGIS Enterprise 10.5.1 and higher. For details on enabling collaboration in My Esri, visit the release blog written by Hilary Curtis and Kelly Gerrow-Wilcox.
