What is World Imagery Clarity?

World Imagery Clarity is a new view of World Imagery in the Living Atlas of the World.

Do you want a clearer view of the world in your maps? Then use World Imagery Clarity. It delivers imagery from the Esri archive that may be clearer and/or more accurate than what is available in the default World Imagery basemap. To learn more about World Imagery Clarity, go here.

As Esri’s Bern Szukalski explains, “World Imagery Clarity is an alternative view, enabling users to access imagery from the Living Atlas archive that may not otherwise be available. The imagery in this view may be older than the default imagery, but it can be used to support use cases in which the image clarity or accuracy is more important than the image being the most current.”

To learn more about this clearer view using World Imagery Clarity and how to use it in ArcGIS Online, read Bern Szukalski’s blog.
