This free course is most useful for secondary educators and students. At the end of the course, attendees will:
- Learn how to use GIS maps to communicate a story
- Interpret different types of story maps
- Create a web app
- Use a template to make a story map
Attendees should at least have completed the Getting Information From A GIS Map and Using GIS to Solve Problems or equivalent knowledge. Educators should review the Educator Guide found in the Preparation Resources [this is available in the page where you register].
